Clive had his surgery on February 8, 2011. He recovered very quickly and has taken over the house! You can read his progress reports below, and you can also look for Clive's Story on Facebook where you will find more recent updates and photos of Clive!

Your Stories

If you have or had a kitty with PRAA or a related vascular ring abnormality and would like to share your story, your joys or your sorrows, on Clive's blog, you can email your story to me at gotmorecats@gmail.com and I will publish it, and please include photos of your kitty. Or, if you would prefer, send me the link to your kitty's web site or blog and I'll post the link here. We realize that not every story has a happy ending, but by sharing our stories maybe we can help other cats with vascular ring anomalies, and help their caretakers to make the right decision for everyone, humans and kitties.

Read about Lucky, the baby kitten who was rescued when she was spotted running across a busy street, only to later be diagnosed with PRAA and have corrective surgery.

Read about Neala, the sphinx kitten. Sadly, Neala did not survive after surgery for PRAA, but it's important that we remember her and share her story, and learn why she didn't survive and what might have saved her.
